Installation supervision

The installation manager (also known as the author’s supervision of the installation) by a company that designs and manufactures electrical equipment, means the control and technical support of the installation of the equipment at the customer’s site. It includes the following:

Correct mounting control:	Commissioning works:	Staff training on:	Troubleshooting:
verification of the conformity of the installation works with the project documentation; advice of the installation team on connection and configuration of equipment.	hardware health check after installation; setting parameters (for example, relay protection settings).	operation and maintenance briefing; technical documentation transfer.	If there are errors during the installation, the chief engineer helps to correct them.
