Cabinet AEAM (Automatic Elimination of Asynchronous Mode)

The AEAM cabinet is designed for automatic elimination of asynchronized mode as an independent local automation system. It is used in digital substations, as well as in traditional power plants and substations. Its purpose is to integrate an object (substation, unit, or transmission line) into the unified system of synchronized phasor measurements in the power grid. The ALAР prevents generator out-of-step conditions, asynchronous oscillations in the network, and disruptions in the entire system. The cabinet detects emerging oscillations, disconnects certain lines within the power system, splitting it into autonomous sections. Once normal operation is restored in the separated sections, the lines are reconnected, and the integrity of the power system is reinstated.

Cabinet design:

The cabinet features a grounded metal enclosure with two-sided access, a transparent front door, and a solid metal rear door. All metal components are corrosion-protected. The surfaces are coated with epoxy-polyester powder paint, and insulating materials are flame-retardant. For convenient external cable connections, the cabinet includes a base frame, a grounding busbar, and cable tie-off rails.

        Composition of the automatic cabinet of emergency mode elimination:

  • current measurement circuits;
  • voltage measurement circuits;
  • protection input / output circuits;
  • relay control circuits;
  • lighting and power outlet circuits.

Cabinet design:

The cabinet is a grounded metal enclosure with two-way access, with a transparent door at the front and a solid metal door at the back. All metal parts of the device are protected against corrosion. All surfaces of the metal structure are painted with epoxy polyester paint, insulating materials do not support burning. For the convenience of connecting external cables, the cabinet is equipped with a base and equipped with a grounding rod and a cable binding rake. The device fully meets the requirements of the standard CT RC GOST P 51321.1-2010.
