AC cabinet (alternating current)

The cabinet is the intermediate element of the current distribution between the disconnectors and supply elements of the substation. Designed to heat and power the actuators of switches and disconnectors. Is a cabinet with input and output automatic circuit breakers. Is a cabinet with input and output automatic circuit breakers.

The AC cabinet functionally consists of:

  • AC distribution circuits;
  • heating and lighting circuits.
Function:
  • to heat and power the circuit breakers and disconnectors;
  • take electrical energy for its own AC needs from two independent sources and distribute it to consumers.

The AC cabinet can also be part of an automated control system (ACS), allowing you to control various technological processes in production without involving employees.
