Automated system of commercial (technical) electricity accounting

The Automated Electricity Accounting System is a set of technical solutions aimed at efficient recording and control of electrical energy consumption. It has several key components:

  • Devices for measuring the amount of electricity consumed are meters that record the amount of electricity consumed over a certain period. These devices can be single-phase or three-phase depending on the type of consumer and the characteristics of the electrical network.

  • Control of electrical network parameters - devices that monitor the state of the electrical network, such as voltage, current, frequency and other parameters important for the stability of system operation.

  • Data collection, processing and reporting modules are components that collect measured data, process it and transfer it to centralized accounting and analysis systems. Such modules can work on both wired and wireless communication channels, which allows to integrate the system with different information platforms.

The Automated System of Commercial Electricity Accounting is used in such fields as:

Manufacturing industry. Automated Commercial Electricity Accounting System in industrial enterprises helps in the analysis and optimization of energy consumption, identification of losses and improvement of energy efficiency.
Housing Utilities. In the communal services system Automated Commercial Energy Accounting System allows to organize the accounting of resources consumed at various facilities, such as heating system, water supply, etc.
Extractive industry. Used to monitor electrical power needed for equipment operation (e.g., accounting, heating and ventilation systems).
 

 

The automated system of commercial accounting of energy resources is intended for:

  • organization of automated accounting and control of production, distribution and consumption of electricity;
  • collection and creation of a measurement database;
  • processing, archiving and storage of measurement data for five years;
  • performing electrical calculations;
  • display of measurement and calculation information in the form of load charts, tables and statements at user sites of the wholesale electricity market subject;

 

 

  • Improve the efficiency of control of electrical modes distribution and consumption of electricity;
  • maintain the same time in order to ensure synchrony of measurements;
  • exchange of data on electricity accounting with the System operator of the unified electric power system of the Republic of Kazakhstan and related entities of electricity distribution operators.

Device description:

The cabinet is an electronic device based on HP-DL080-GEN10 industrial server, ATEN CL1000M control console. Also installed: GPRS-modem TRB-245, time synchronization device ECS-2, EDS-308 8-port switch 10/100 Mbit/s and Mercury meters.

The cabinet is made of grounded metal body with transparent door at the front, made of tempered glass in metal frame and solid metal door at the back. All metal parts of the device are protected against corrosion. All construction elements are epoxy polyester powder painted, insulation materials do not support burning. 

The cabinet is made of two-sided service. For convenience of connecting external cables, the cabinet is complemented by a base and supplemented with a grounding bar.

The device fully meets the requirements of the standard GOST P IEC 60950-2005 «Security of information technology equipment».
